This picture was taken in the Forbidden City.  I found the place enchanting, and incredibly beautiful.

 

  1. The trip to Beijing was amazing in every respect.  It was great to meet colleagues on the other side of the world, and to get to know them, and how we share many of the same interests and concerns.  And the sightseeing portion of the trip was amazing.  To see the Forbidden City, and to visit the Great Wall, was an experience of a lifetime.
